The newer route notice wins
Evony announced the change on June 30, 2026, for the version update on July 3. Douglas, Edward Teach, Subutai, Pallas, Pyrrhus, Laudon and Mihai became available in Tavern Recruitment. The same notice explicitly says those seven would no longer be obtainable from Epic Historic General (Glory) or Epic Historic General (Premium).
Stephen I of Hungary, Visconti, Olaf Skötkonung, Daniel Morgan, Francis I of France and Tishtrya moved into Epic Historic General (Glory). This is a route change, not a claim that any specific General is guaranteed. Evony moved the doors. It did not remove the queue.
An older official table is still older
Evony’s official randomized-item page was published on February 6, 2024. Its Historic General table still lists the seven later Tavern additions in Glory and Premium. The June 30, 2026 notice is newer and specifically replaces those routes after July 3. When two official pages disagree, compare their dates and scope before comparing your wallet with its former contents.
A November 2 specialist audit reaches the same practical conclusion: check the exact General, current Tavern roster and current item description before spending. The live client is the final confirmation because another roster update could follow.
The Tavern percentage is not the Pallas percentage
The official odds page gives Tavern-level category rates. At Tavern level 30 it lists a 32.72% chance for a Historic General; at level 40 it lists 35%. Those figures cover the Historic General category. They do not publish the chance for Pallas, Douglas or any other exact General on one refresh.
The difference from 32.72% to 35% is 2.28 percentage points, or about 7.0% relative to the level 30 rate. That is editorial arithmetic, not a promise of 7.0% more copies. A larger category chance is useful, but the target still shares the category with other Generals. The Tavern has improved the filing cabinet, not learned your intentions.
Use a route audit before spending
- Write the exact target General and the role the account needs.
- Open the current Tavern portrait roster or the exact General item description.
- Confirm that the target appears in that route today.
- Set a Gem, item or refresh limit before the first random result.
- Stop if the live roster conflicts with the plan. Save a screenshot and recheck the newest dated notice.
Do not treat one player’s lucky day, a community calendar or a short sample as an exact target rate. An August player discussion reports sharply different experiences and conflicting beliefs about daily boosts. It is evidence of uncertainty, not a probability table.
Conditions and evidence limits
The official June notice confirms the named route changes and the July 3 effective update. The official odds page supplies category rates by Tavern level, but its Historic General item table predates and conflicts with the later route notice. Neither source publishes a current exact per-General Tavern probability, Gem cost per completed target or guaranteed refresh count.
Kat’s Quiet Keep did not refresh the Tavern, open General items or inspect a live November 2026 roster. Check the current client before spending. No exact copy rate, best refresh day, purchase value or guarantee is claimed.
