Kat’s verdictCraft only when the exact scroll fills a planned empty slot, the current Forge recipe is acceptable and the piece reaches a breakpoint you actually value. Wait when the reward duplicates a slot, the next breakpoint still needs unavailable pieces or the live client no longer matches an older guide.

Start with the slot, not the category

Evony’s official FAQ says officer equipment is crafted in the Forge and names Academy Officer’s Staff and Academy Officer’s Robe among the available pieces. Official 2026 event pages then listed an Academy Officer’s Crown Scroll at Midsummer Party Cake level 10 and an Academy Officer’s Leg Armor Scroll at Triumphal Party Cake level 10. Crown and Leg Armor are separate rewards. Neither replaces Staff or Robe.

The level 8 chest beside a level 10 reward is also not proof that both contain the same slot. The Midsummer page listed a Military chest at level 8 and the Academy Crown at level 10. The Triumphal page listed a Stratagems chest at level 8 and Academy Leg Armor at level 10. Read the complete reward name before deciding what the account gained. Evony has supplied several nouns. Organisation remains a player feature.

Choose the breakpoint before the recipe

A January 2026 specialist equipment guide reports six Academy slots and set bonuses at 2, 4 and 6 pieces. It lists all-troop defense +5% at 2 pieces, attacking-troop HP +10% at 4 pieces, then rally capacity +6%, attacking mounted and ground attack +12%, and a −10% enemy ranged and siege attack effect while joining a rally at 6 pieces.

Those values are specialist documentation, not a current official Academy table. Check the live set panel before crafting. Also separate ordinary set bonuses from the later Synergy system: the same specialist guide says Synergy depends on advanced-refinement colours and claimed collection rewards. Owning six pieces does not automatically prove every Synergy effect is active.

A four-piece decision is not a six-piece promise

Suppose Staff and Robe are already equipped. That is 2 of 6 slots, or 33.3% of the pieces, and the specialist table reports the 2-piece defense bonus. Adding Crown and Leg Armor makes 4 of 6 slots, or 66.7%, and reaches the reported 4-piece attacking-HP bonus. It still does not unlock the 6-piece rally effects because Boots and Ring remain missing.

The percentages of pieces are editorial arithmetic, not percentages of set value. Breakpoints are discrete. If the account values the 4-piece bonus and the final two scrolls have no confirmed route, stopping at four can be a complete plan rather than an incomplete mood.

Craft, wait or stop

Craft when the scroll is for a missing Academy slot, the live piece text serves the account’s real role, the recipe does not consume materials reserved for higher priorities and the craft reaches or advances a chosen breakpoint.

Wait when the event name is known but the exact slot, Forge cost, current set text or remaining acquisition path is not. A fresh November 2 specialist audit recommends the same slot-first check and warns that an event scroll need not include the crafting materials.

Stop when the next piece is a duplicate, the useful breakpoint is already reached, or the plan depends on treating old event rewards as permanently available. A collection can be patient. The Forge has never complained about this because it has materials to sell.

Conditions and evidence limits

Official sources confirm Forge crafting and the named Crown and Leg Armor event rewards on March 27, June 5 and June 19, 2026. They do not publish a complete current Academy acquisition map, today’s package prices, every recipe or a current six-piece set table. The January specialist guide supplies the slot and breakpoint values; the November specialist audit supplies planning guidance. Neither overrides the current client.

Kat’s Quiet Keep did not craft the pieces, inspect a live November 2026 Academy set panel or test the buffs in battle. Verify the exact scroll, assigned Academy officer, Forge recipe, set panel and active conditions in the current client before using rare materials. No purchase value or guaranteed combat result is claimed.
