Trade Carriages present one of those wonderfully Evony questions:

Can you attack it?

Yes.

Should you attack it?

Ah. Welcome to World Chat.

LEGAL ROBBERY

Evony built plundering directly into Trade Carriages. Escort Teams exist specifically to defend against it, and losing the defense costs part of the carriage goods.

So attacking a carriage is not inherently cheating, exploiting, or breaking an Evony rule.

But server rules are different from game mechanics.

Some servers protect carriages under NAP. Some protect only Alliance Caravans. Others consider every carriage rolling down the road fair game.

Which means the real question isn’t whether Evony permits highway robbery.

It does.

The question is whether your server wants highwaymen.

PICK YOUR GAME

If your server enjoys internal competition, excellent.

Attack the carriages. Build strong escorts. Plunder each other. Keep score. Perhaps issue tiny masks to the horses.

There is nothing inherently wrong with choosing that culture.

But many mature servers eventually move toward something quieter: fewer internal attacks, more NAP, more cooperative growth, and saving the serious fighting for the places where fighting actually serves a larger purpose.

If that’s your server, carriage plundering deserves a conversation.

Because the reward gained by one player comes from another player on the same server losing part of theirs.

The server hasn’t created more growth.

It has redistributed it.

QUIET CHOICE

My preference?

Let them roll.

Not because the carriage is sacred.

Not because plundering is against the rules.

And certainly not because I trust four horses carrying unattended treasure through an Evony server.

Simply because if we’ve spent years learning how to coexist, grow together and stop burning our neighbors, I’m not convinced a wagon should restart the civil war.

If your server wants carriage PvP, make that the rule.

If your server wants peaceful growth, protect them.

Either works better than discovering the policy one plunder at a time.

Quiet win: Just because Evony gives us a button doesn’t mean we have to press it.

Although apparently Attila would like it noted that the button works perfectly.
