The announced Civilization Celebration dates, 2026-09-08 to 2026-09-10, are not a confirmed merger maintenance window. The notice does not give an exact merger time.

Mail and bookmarks
The linked rules delete bookmarks on both servers and mail on the lower-ranked server. Save important reports and messages outside the game before maintenance.
Alliance buildings
Alliances remain, but buildings disappear and players relocate randomly. Rebuilding an already completed Alliance City is free and instant under the linked rules; unfinished or never-built cities are excluded. Confirm the new gathering point before using teleports.
Rank and subordinate cities
The 2025 warning says rank can fall when rankings refresh. Recheck your subordinate-city capacity before releasing or replacing a city. Preserved ownership is not a promise that your rank stays the same.

Kat’s recommendation: keep your existing upgrade budget until actual reports justify a change. More competitors may change your priorities, but their names alone do not price an effective defense.
If your server is absent from the official list, this announcement alone is no reason to change your spending. If it is listed, save records now and use the in-game maintenance notice to plan your return.
