Three jobs share one Join button
- Personal loot: a double-drop effect on your joining march changes your own eligible reward roll. It does not make the setter’s combat march stronger.
- Stamina and time: a compatible assistant can reduce the stamina charged or travel time if the live skill remains active. These are efficiency effects, not double-drop chance.
- Combat support: a monster debuff general may reduce the setter’s required force or wounded, but only when the effect participates in that rally and the monster has useful debuff room.
Choose the job before choosing the portrait. Otherwise the preset becomes a small committee, which explains the meeting and not the result.
Build the personal reward preset from confirmed lines
Current specialist references agree that Baibars’s base skill gives a 25% Double Items Drop Rate from Monsters when he leads the army. Over 100 eligible completed rallies, that one listed source has an expected value of 25 extra reward sets. It does not promise exactly 25. Random results retain their traditional interest in making short samples look important.
The same specialist data shows that Baibars’s red-star additions improve monster combat, not double-drop rate. His fourth Specialty adds a reported 16% double-drop rate, but unlocking it consumes real Specialty resources. Ascending Baibars only to improve loot chance therefore buys the wrong line.
Do not automatically add a Luck Skill Book to Baibars. Current independent guides conflict: one says the duplicate ability is incompatible, while another says it stacks. Open the march details in the current client. If the effect is grey, absent or rejected, count it as zero. If it appears active, record at least 200 comparable eligible kills before treating a small difference as a reliable gain.
Keep assistant equipment out of the arithmetic
Evony’s official assistant FAQ says an assistant can contribute the original Special Skill, Skill Books, Specialties and skin effects when compatible. Cultivation, enhancement, ascension, equipment attributes and the assistant creature’s own attributes do not apply. A creature may still be required on the assistant to activate that assistant’s conditional skill.
This gives the preset a useful boundary. Put equipment and creature attributes that must affect the march on the main general. Use the assistant for active compatible skill text. A very polished assistant remains decorative in several measurable departments.
Test monster debuff support separately
Specialist guides report that monster defence debuffs are capped at -50% and that joining debuff generals can reduce the troops or wounded needed by the rally setter. Player reports disagree on whether several Sanada Yukimuras continue stacking in the same monster rally and on which participant’s effects survive. No complete official public formula settles that dispute.
- Use the same setter, monster level, troop count, main and assistant, equipment, creature and buffs.
- Run a baseline without the support general, then repeat with one support joiner.
- Add a second identical support joiner only after the first change repeats. Compare wounded and the exact result, not the rally animation.
- If the second addition produces no repeatable marginal change, stop building duplicate copies for that claim.
A support preset can be valuable before a difficult monster. It is not permission to send meaningful troops into a rally that did not request them. One troop tests the debuff with less collateral enthusiasm.
Use one ledger before spending
- Personal loot: measure eligible double drops over at least 200 comparable kills. Do not fund an inactive or unproven stacking line.
- Stamina or time: measure stamina charged and round-trip time. Do not confuse faster joins with higher reward chance.
- Debuff support: measure setter troops required, wounded and repeated outcome. Stop when another support copy adds no repeatable change.
The useful preset is the one that changes the chosen result at an acceptable cost. The most decorated preset has merely won the screen.
Evidence limits
Official material confirms assistant-general exclusions and activation rules. Baibars’s exact 25% and fourth-Specialty 16% values, the -50% monster defence-debuff cap and the rally-support effect come from current specialist documentation. Luck compatibility and multi-Sanada stacking remain disputed across independent guides and player observations. This article supplies a controlled test and spending boundary, not a universal monster-combat formula.
